Devam World Trade (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website www.devamworldtrade.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site or contact us, how we use it and the choices you have. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you give us. When you submit the Request a Quote form, the contact form or a product enquiry, we collect the details you enter — such as your name, company name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, the products and quantities you are interested in, delivery details, your message and any file you attach (for example a specification sheet).
• Information from messaging and calls. If you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email, we keep the content of that correspondence and your contact details so we can respond and keep a record of the enquiry.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites we may record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, referring page and campaign tags (for example utm_source) through cookies and analytics tools described below.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and carry out any resulting business transaction.
• To send you an acknowledgement email with a reference number and to follow up on your request.
• To understand how the Site is used so we can improve its content and performance.
• To detect and prevent spam, abuse and security incidents (for example through rate limiting and reCAPTCHA).
• To comply with applicable law, including export, tax and record-keeping obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them.

3. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies make the Site work (for example remembering your cookie choice). We measure overall traffic with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not identify individual visitors. With your consent (via the cookie notice), we may additionally use Google Analytics to measure traffic and conversions such as form submissions and WhatsApp clicks; Google Analytics sets cookies and collects data as described in Google’s privacy policy, with IP addresses anonymised where the tool supports it. You can withdraw that consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser, after which Google Analytics will not load until you accept again.

Our forms may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Embedded maps and messaging links (for example WhatsApp) are provided by third parties who may collect data according to their own policies.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers who help us run the Site and handle enquiries (for example web hosting, email delivery and analytics), who may process it only on our instructions;
• with suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders, banks and other parties where this is necessary to quote for or complete a transaction you have asked for;
• where required by law, regulation, court order or a government authority; and
• in connection with a restructuring, merger or sale of our business, subject to this policy.

Because we trade internationally, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including India, where our service providers or counterparties are located.

5. Data retention

Enquiries submitted through the Site are delivered to our business mailbox by email; the Site itself does not store them in a database. We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterwards to maintain a business history, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Analytics data is retained in line with the settings of the analytics provider.

6. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS and enquiry data is transmitted to us by email over encrypted connections. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in India, you may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. The Site is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from it is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Gujarat, India.
